The vineyard, from which there is an exceptional panorama over the Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail, extends over 48 hectares, in one piece, facing south-east, south-west. In red Grenache dominates, complemented by Syrah, while Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier and Clairette share the roles in white.
The terroir is fabulous and the semi-underground cellars, conducive to patient work towards elegance and finesse, will allow us to refine our farms and store our wines in bottles without air conditioning. A constant temperature all year round is the certainty of a serene development for the greatest respect of our juices and lovers of fine vintages.

The soul
Acquired in 2010 by Stéphane VEDEAU, Clos Bellane is located on top of the Vinsobres plateau, north of the Enclave des Papes.
Further north! This is the guarantee of an annual temperature conducive to slow maceration of the berries, a guarantee of elegance and delicate notes.
Higher! With its 400 meters of altitude for more freshness in summer, in the soil and for the plant.
All to the East! To ensure a softer sun at the rising than at sunset and thus curb excessive evaporation which concentrates in alcohol.
Finally, a terroir rich in active limestone ends up achieving these rare balances by its structural freshness and its complex minerality.
The know-how
Respect for the integrity of the grapes allows the fermentation to proceed more smoothly. Severe manual sorting allows the best of the crop to be selected. The cellar is designed on the principle of gravity feeding in order to respect the harvest. It is equipped with modern and high-performance equipment which incorporates cutting-edge technology and the irreplaceable presence of man:
Thermoregulated stainless steel vats, automatic destemming, punching down in Burgundy, pneumatic press. The aging of the wine is oriented, depending on the vintage in barrels, casks or concrete tanks. The assembly is obtained after collegial assembly in order to define the obtaining of the label « Clos ». Long phase followed by breeding. Depending on the texture of the wine, it will be aged in concrete tanks, in old in Burgundy barrels or demi-muids.
